Announcing our €3m fundraising

Linkup is thrilled to announce a €3m funding round

Linkup

Paris, France - November 18th At Linkup, we envision a future where artificial intelligence drives unparalleled progress and as it reaches Nobel Prize-level intelligence. For this future to exist, we believe AIs need to gain the ability to seamlessly connect with and navigate the world around them - intelligence, no matter how profound, is hindered when confined to isolation. With the Internet powering much of the world’s interactions and knowledge, connecting AIs to it feels like the natural starting point.

However, existing frameworks to navigate the Internet are optimized for humans, not AIs. As a result, AI companies resort to using techniques that mimic human behavior — searching using SEO-optimized search engines, scraping web content to extract information, or using complex Visual Language Models to interact with internet pages. More than being technically inefficient, these approaches put the whole business model of the internet at risk, as content owners are not compensated for the use of their content.

That’s why we gave ourselves the mission to build new pathways for AIs to access the web efficiently and fairly. Over the past months, we’ve been heads down developing APIs that enable agents to search, access, and interact with the web. We’re now proud to offer a fast, reliable, and ethical alternative to scraping that sets the scene for the development of a sustainable Internet ecosystem for AIs.

And today, we’re thrilled to announce that we have raised a €3 million funding round led by Seedcamp and joined by Axeleo Capital, Motier Ventures, Financière Saint James, OPRTRS Club, Kima Ventures, as well as business angels from the AI and media industries. These investors bring their expertise, reputation and commitment to our shared vision of the agentic web.

With this investment, we’re focused on developing our technology and strengthening our technical team with Machine Learning experts and Software Engineers. This funding will also enable us to further grow key partnerships with content publishers and data sources.

“The Internet was originally built for people to access information, but soon, AI agents will be doing this on our behalf,” says Philippe Mizrahi, co-founder and CEO of Linkup. “That shift means we need to rethink how the web works — creating an ecosystem where these agents can navigate efficiently and, importantly, where content providers are fairly compensated. At Linkup, we’re putting ethics at the center of our technology, because we believe the future of AI needs to be sustainable for everyone involved”.

We’re incredibly excited about the journey ahead. If our mission resonates with you, we’d love to connect.
